while tools may not make one a professional, it certainly does not hurt to get yourself the best tools available

also has a lot more flexible file structure compared to DB. Doesn't have hotlinked public files, but that's what Puush is for anyway

it's just not possible to achieve industry standard quality of photos with a non-L lens in terms of sharpness, color quality and so on.

it's fine if you're working for small businesses who don't care about that stuff

I don't have a static IP, and I dislike those dynamic DNS whatsits, so NAS is fairly useless

but when you're doing a spread for a magazine they're very nitpicky about that stuff

dislike dynamic dns services... minor issue
